Hi Jeremy, as per my email to you it is 20% of the first phase which is 8 blocks and Mohamed put forward a plan to us, I think a bit unrealistic in a month but I was pleased to see they actually had a plan and was talking to the site engineer (I have put the plan on the members area as there are still certain parties trying to derail everything for their own gain and couldn't care less if you all get something as long as they can get more money). It's shame as they are portraying themselves as trying to help when in fact the only people they want to help are themselves to your money, just like it has been since day 1, but some people are blinded by lies.

so thats blocks A B C D E J K L and when you say 20% of the build it that just the concrete skeleton

That is correct, he says concrete and rendering however, what he says and what gets done as we know don't always match (sorry never match), the good news is that work is still continuing so we need baby steps and make sure work continues at a constant pace.

Here are some photos sent by Mohamed, showing work still progressing and plenty of materials on site and they are bricking up both sides as you can see the Oasis Resort in some of the photos

Hi Jeremy the 20% is 20% of the whole first phase so blocks L and K they are currently working on constitutes more than 20% of the first phase, hope this makes sense

There has been some activity on the Pyramids Beach site with heavy machinery digging up the old foundations that were in the wrong place from the previous design/building licence

Hi Jeremy, yes they are going to be working on the construction they are moving these foundations first. New materials are due, there has already been a big load of bricks delivered and sand, they are just getting a few security guards in place for when it all arrives, this is what I was told yesterday and I will be following up to check.

Hi all, here are a few photos I took last week of where they have dug out the concrete columns and as I suspected the foundations for phase 2 were in the right place yet they have dug them up

I will have some more news very soon as I am in touch with the PB team most days

Hi Jeremy, the solicitors are just finalising the draft and I should have it later this week to read through and then out to everyone else. As usual I'm still having to chase every day about the build but I hope to see some movement very soon

I have been informed today by one of our staff out in Hurghada that he thinks work may have restarted on Pyramids Beach, he is going to go and get some photos tomorrow if it has, I will post them here if he gets any.

I have received the photos and with it being Friday there is no one on site (whether it would make a difference if it was a working day I don't know) however, there has been some small changes. They have had bricks delivered and moved them to the 3rd floor ready for bricking up and filled in and levelled the ground where the concrete posts were removed. Not a great deal of work, but I suppose it has been Ramadan and the troubles, let's see what happens in the next few weeks.

Here some photos just taken today, and you can see people still working on a Friday. They aren't going to win any awards for the fastest brick laying however, Mohamed did tell me he would just keep the work continuing albeit slowly and they have bricked up the 3 floors at the front by the looks of it. More materials are ordered to get them to the feast, as he doesn't want materials left on site over the feast period in case they are stolen. I know it's not mind blowing, but work is on going

Hi Jeremy, the usual work will restart soon so will be going to see myself as well when I am out there, will have to have a coffee in 3SIS and Tiba cafe. Also we are having our staff Christmas get together on the 12th Nov, you are welcome to join us, as is anyone else out there at the same time, I'm thinking Papas Bar, Masala and then Papas again or something like that. Do you want to join us?

Hi Steve, good to finally meet you last week hope you enjoyed the football match? Thanks for the update and if you could get some photos it would be great, there should be more bricks turning up soon and the workers should be starting. You posted before I have found the time to update on my conversations with Mohamed last week :D

Here are some photos taken this morning and I have been informed that there are more bricks on the way, as well as cement and sand, the water tank is already on site. Workers are supposed to be on site on Saturday and they won't be stopping until the 20% is completed, which triggers the swap, lets hope 2014 will be a year of constant work unlike 2013.

Here are some photos taken today, Mohamed has been promising to send me photos for over a week and they never turned up, so Garry went to take some, there is even security on site now and a great road block to stop people getting in :)

Hi Neil,

What was the outcome from your trip to Egypt? Do we still hold on to POA?

Hi Daljitb, my trip didn't have a good outcome and I have explained my position to all the HRA members in the private area, but to be brief at this time you need to contact Mohamed direct, his email address is enjoyredsea@yahoo.com

Due to the time wasting/game playing this has dragged on so long that right now it is financially impossible for me to continue, as I have not charged anyone a penny in over 5 years, all expenses and time has come from my pocket, and I can no longer continue. Those in the HRA are at the point I wanted to get them to over all these years, so they are being sorted out, those that have dealt with Mohamed direct, you need to email him and ask for your new contract. If you want to go through Dentons like the HRA members then let me know and I will put you in touch with them.

However, and very important you need your old contact to form part of the new contract, so something like an Annex and referred to, especially any money you have paid previously make sure it is all accounted for on the contract, if not don't sign and contact a lawyer to take legal advice, Mr Remon Nazih's contact details are on this forum. If things change and after focusing on my business for a while I can come back and help to the same degree I will do.

Dear Neil,

Thanks for your reply. If we contact Mohammed direct, I dont think we are going to get any where. I would like to go with the rest of HRA and contact Dentons. Can you please give me their contact of person I need to speak to?
I am bit confused, where does Remon fit in all this?

Hi Daljitb, I will email you the contact at Dentons and Remon is included if anyone wishes to take this further legally as he is Hurghada based whereas Dentons are based in Cairo and charge a lot more than Remon, so he is better to use for those wishing to go the legal route.

Any news, anyone? Any progress at all on PB?
Is it worth a visit to Hurghada to visit Mohammed or will that be a waste of time, like our visit in 2010?????

Mohamed isn't in Hurghada, he is in hiding somewhere Alexandria I think. There are a lot of behind the scenes work being done in regards of PB, not building work though and nothing I can discuss with anyone at the moment.
