This thread is for all those that have bought on Isida in Al Ayhaa Hurghada. You all need to start talking together and acting as a group, to shout louder.

Well Jen and others on Isida, it seems the intervention has worked and Mr Mohamed is starting to get things done. Garry was there today and he said there were about 12 workers on site and he has sent me the following photos:

Thanks to Neil and Gazzer for the updates moving fairly quickly now spoke to Ramy a couple of days ago he's supplying some of the labour and just got the final papers through for electrics so just need to pay for connection now.

I'm hoping for at least an early new year finish let's hope this pace of works continues!

Neil you'll have to give me a quote for 34m studio package obviously small kitchen with appliances sofa bed free standing wardrobe air con etc a rough figure wold be much appreciated!

Hi Wakey White, apologies for the delay in replying to you I have been trying to help others with problems which I seem to have wasted many hours doing. I am now focusing on my work again, so I will get a price for you today, do you want me to post it on here, or send it via PM?

Apologies again for the delay

Many thanks to all posting its great to get positive info that work is still in progress, it certainly raises spirits and gives us hope that there is light at the end of what seemed a very long tunnel. Please keep us updated we rely on people who are able to physically see work in progress especially when for what ever reason Mohamed still appears to have lost the art of communication, but that said its great to hear he is there amongst the workers.

Hi wakey white, I didn't see any work being done the whole week I was there. I think you all need to start getting aggressive with Mohamed as he seems to have stopped again, we have the Tourism Minister looking at the whole Red Sea area now and his office has informed me they are making it a priority to clean up these developers that have taken investors money and not provided the properties. At the end of the day it is fraud and theft, as they have taken money and not given something in return, I am now in direct contact with His Excellence Dr Hisham Zaazou and he is going to be having a meeting with our lawyers in Cairo. This is good news that finally someone within the Egyptian Government is trying to help you all.

this is really sad as things looked as though they were moving, i agree, is there any way we can get a lawyer collectivelly Neil as enough is enough this situation cant continue and Mohammed has obviously no concept of the art of communication or customer service, i like others wish i had never purchased on this development, jenny

Jen,

I've replied to you on wwp and now here this development is going to be finished workers from joya are coming over as soon as final works are finished to complete isida.

I spoke to my solicitor yesterday and he confirmed everything is been done and I know we're behind schedule but that's life and i'm very confident this will be completed within 3 months due to people i'm in contact with.

This developer why start again if your not going to finish it patience is required and us English people haven't much of it me included!

lol, mine ran out a long time ago i need regular updates as reassurrance that the end is in sight. That said i agree im sure the project will be finished as you say work continues and that in its self is reassuring but i think a realistic completion date from Mohamed is not a lot to ask of him along with updates as to whether he is on schedule or not is something really we shouldnt need to ask others about, its something we should be told automatically as part of good customer service interaction, that said im not purely directing this at Mohamed as there are others out there who have had a financial interest in this also and happily taken a percentage of our money who could/should also be providing us with progress reports. On a different subject Happy New Year, lets hope its a good one for everyone how is connected to Isida and all the people who have supported us and updated us, plus health/happiness and stability to all who live in Egypt. jenny

An update on isida no work has obviously been done apart from the gate been installed and from what i can gather he's struggling to raise funds for the connection of the electrics.
I'm not very happy because the offer of help was put to him by rivermead and he wasn't forthcoming and stated he wanted to finish this development on his own that's fine if you've got the funds!

I'm still pursuing this with Ramy from joya but as we say im afraid"hands tied behind our backs"

Neil would Michael Joseph or some lawyer you recommend be able to helo us out collectivelly with Isida, if so could they possible put up a post on one of the forums for purchasers to contact them as it really is time we took some action, although how many of us there actually are is anyones guess as between this forum, wwf and the one that was closed there seems to be only a small handful of us but one never knows it maybe that folks just dont want to post. It would be great to hear some positive news such as what a lawyer could do for us and to be honest you and Gazzer seem to be the only ones we trust or have any faith in. Many thanks jenny

Hi Jenny, I do know a lawyer and it's not Michael Joseph (he is now based more in the USA than Egypt), it is Remon the Senior Attorney in the Law Firm Michael Joseph is part of and the one that has always done the legal work for MJ. He is the only lawyer I trust in Hurghada.

I will let you know what he says

Hi Jeremy, have you emailed him? Really you need to deal direct as it's your contract and your lawyer if that makes sense, he won't be happy discussing your business with me, just send him an email and then if you don't get a reply let me know and I will chase him to reply.
