Owners of any Tiba apartment can use this thread to speak to each other, share hints and tips, discuss any issues you have and grow a community to give you a louder voice to tackle any issues with the builder as a group.

Thank you 3sis for a great breakfast this morning. More than enough to eat at an acceptable price. Long may it continue.

just a quick update for all tiba owners, the expanse of land between tt2, tiba palace & tiba heights is having a walled school erected on it. the school will be next to the m.e.s. school that is already open. will post photos later.

Good afternoon everyone from a wet London where the current temperature is 7c. We arrived back on Wednesday after an excellent 14 days in the sun at Tiba Garden. It was good to meet people we had not met before and to visit the new venues that are starting to appear. 3sis and Tiba Café are really excellent venues that are good value for money. 3sis especially during Happy Hour that in reality last 3 hours from 5pm-8pm. At both venues the staff cannot do enough to make you welcome and enjoy your stay. A section of the beach has now been cleared and is a beautiful sandy lagoon. Unfortunately you cannot post pictures on here so I can't show how nice it is. This has prompted my thoughts of starting a Facebook Page of Tiba owners. I make it clear there is no way I would want to pull members away from this excellent forum but thought it could be an addition for general chat and photos. What do you think? It could also be utilised by Neil and Garry for promoting their photos of furniture. There are also some very useful shops opposite the complexes on the sea side of the road. The man in the paint shop I found especially helpful and the plumbers a little further down towards the bakers was also very helpful. Bakers, yes, what a great shop. the sweetmeats are delicious. Well that's enough from me, have a good weekend everyone.

Great review OWT, and good news about the beach being cleared I am sure that will make many people happy. If you want to email your photos I can upload for you, and we have a Tiba Facebook page that owners are welcome to use

https://www.facebook.com/Tibadevelopments?ref=hl

I will see if it can be changed to allow anyone to upload photos

Good morning everyone.

The directions to the beach/lagoon are as follows.
From Tiba garden/Tower2 walk across the sand to the main road where across the road you will see an unmade road that leads to Royal Beach. Walk down this road to Royal Beach and turn right. About 100 yds along you will see some open land on your left that has large rocks on it. There are two larger rocks that look to form and entrance. Go through and walk to the sea shore. Turn right and you will see the lagoon/beach a little further along. It is about a 5/10 minute walk in total. If you are old like me it is 10 minutes but for anyone going in for Iron Man 5 minutes. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help everyone. Found it now. Appears to be running well behind schedule as it was due to open September this year and they appear from the photos to just be starting the foundations.

The primary school is almost complete just a bit of block work to do, as Jeremy says the foundations are for the perimeter wall for the second school.

Hi Alicat, the café is very nice, serving soft drinks & cakes. In the near future it will be serving hot food, European & Egyptian, beautiful lattes, frappes & cappuccinos.

Totally agree with Tibaqueen. If it's very hot sit inside where its air conditioned otherwise sit out in the sunshine where you can while the time away with friends.

I have to admit to missing the sunshine, Tiba Cafe and 3sis. Looking at flights for February. There are some good deals with Easyjet.

I was hoping to visit this month but once again other commitments have taken over. Everything seems to have gone very quiet apart from news about the rain. Can anyone tell me if the glass doors to Tiba Gardens have now been replaced as they were broken in the wind last November. Is there any news about 3SIS reopening. When you are several thousand miles away any news is most welcomed.

Hi Alan & pat, no the door has not been replaced as for 3sis opening again I don't think so, the front section had to be dismantled due to no planning permission & a lot of legal issues still outstanding, e-mail me for any info
